Hi, I'm Tanya

Birth has been part of my story for a long time.

I am a birth and postpartum doula, birth photographer, and mom of three.

My own three births were completely different — a caesarean birth, a VBAC with an epidural, and a very fast unmedicated birth. Those experiences taught me something I have carried into every birth space since: there is no one right way to give birth.

For more than a decade, I have had the privilege of supporting over 80 families through hospital births, home births, inductions, epidurals, caesareans, unmedicated births, and births that changed course completely from the original plan.

Birth and supporting families has become one of the great purposes of my life. There is something incredibly humbling about being invited into this space — witnessing a family change in an instant, holding steady when things feel overwhelming, and helping parents feel informed, heard and supported.

I believe birth is powerful and transformative, but I also know it can be unpredictable. My role is not to decide what your birth should look like. It is to help you understand your options, ask questions, trust yourself and feel supported as your birth unfolds.

I still carry the families I have supported with me. Their births have shaped the doula I am today, and after all these years, I still feel incredibly grateful every time a family chooses to invite me into their story.

Your birth. Your body. Your choice. Your way.
